It's all about the: polishing, detail, clarity, structure, grammar, punctuation, word choice, information choice, fact-checking. Get it right and the copy sings.

As a freelance editor and proofreader I have worked on a variety of texts such as commerical documents and websites, council reports and non-fiction books.

As Managing Editor of Innovative Household magazine I plan the feature articles, commission writers, liaise with the designer and sales and production teams, copy-edit the stories, write some of the features and advertorial and ensure the magazine is produced on time and within budget.

I have a keen eye for detail, always meet deadlines and, with my writing experience, am able to offer constructive copy-editing advice. I follow Wiley's Style Manual, 6ed and The Australian Editing Handbook, 2ed, Flann & Hill, or will follow a particular house style if required.
