It's all about the: polishing, detail, clarity, structure, grammar, punctuation, word choice, information choice, fact-checking. Get it right and the copy sings.

I have a keen eye for detail, always meet deadlines and, with my writing experience, am able to offer constructive copy-editing advice. I follow Wiley's Style Manual, 6ed and The Australian Editing Handbook, 2ed, Flann & Hill, or will follow a particular house style if required.

As Managing Editor of Innovative Household magazine I planned the feature articles, commissioned writers, liaised with the designer and sales and production teams, copy-edited the stories, wrote some of the feature articles and advertorial and ensured the magazine was produced on time and within budget.
